We know that your time is very important and we are committed to continuous improvement

How many years have you been in the profession?

Alfons Catena Oliva graduated in 1991 and has had his own office since October 2000.

What experience do you have in the sector?

We have been advising the elderly, their families and their associations and collectives for more than twenty years.

What team do you have to advise your clients?

We have the direct support of registry and customer service experts and we work with doctors specialising in dementia and cognitive impairment, architects specialising in the elimination of architectural barriers and, in general, any professional who shares our values and objectives

Do you keep up to date with legal developments?

Continuously, either by attending face-to-face conferences in prestigious legal forums or through internet sessions.

How do you communicate with you?

By telephone; office visits, always by appointment and, upon request, online consultations via the internet

What are your fees?

Adapted to the difficulty and complexity of the case or the volume of work. However, they must be communicated in advance by means of an order form and/or estimate.

Are you recognised by your colleagues and have you appeared in any professional publications?

We have appeared in several editions of the Catalan Civil Law Conference in Tossa de Mar and we have published in the Bulletin of Studies of the Association of Registrars. We have also drafted amendments to the Inheritance Code of Catalonia.

Do you relate to technology?

Technology, properly used, is a great ally of professional practices and that is how we see it.

How does the current situation, caused by COVID-19, affect you?

It affects us with a very substantial increase in orders for our inheritance law area (claims, management and advice) and, especially, in estate planning matters. We also receive many enquiries about the revision of rental and purchase contracts due to the impact of COVID-19 on the economy of companies and individuals.
